DGfS/CL 99 7th Meeting of the Section for Computational Linguistics of the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\252r Sprachwissenschaft October 6-8,1999 Universit\228t des Saarlandes, Saarbr\252cken Theme: Computational Linguistics: Theoretical vs. Empirical Concerns The conference welcomes current work within research and application oriented computational linguistics. Abstracts which pertain to the main theme of the conference will generally be preferred. The language of the conference is both English and German and abstracts will be accepted in either language. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is June 18th, 1999. 3 copies of abstracts no longer than 6 pages should be submitted to by that date. The electronic submission of abstracts is strongly encouraged (we will take postscript, Microsoft Word, RTF, HTML or PDF, as well as simple ASCII). A workshop on practical issues will form a part of the meeting.
