Wordstream is a fully funded early-stage Internet company providing
revolutionary solutions for delivering multi-lingual content on the 
WWW. We have several immediate openings in our French Language 
Development area.

We are seeking a French Language Manager who will lead the people and
processes in our French Language Development area. Responsibilities
include:
 -Assist in the development and refinement of a proprietary universal
grammar and corresponding rules;
 -Identify, acquire and implement domain-specific (eg financial,
medical) wordsets to enhance our core database. (Financial and 
business domain a plus.)
 -Hire, train and manage the ongoing work of staff linguists and 
translators.
 -Collaborate with Japanese, English and Spanish language managers to
ensure consistency.
Qualifications include:
 -Leadership, project management and teamwork skills.
 -Demonstrated understanding of linguistic universals, especially
syntax and morphology.
 -Native or near-native fluency in French.
 -Strong command of English grammar.

In addition, we are seeking French staff linguists and translators to
be part of our French Language Development Team.
Openings exist for full-time permanent and temporary positions.
There are positions for various levels of expertise. 
Native or near-native fluency in French and a strong command of the 
English language is required. 
Familiarity with financial and business terms a plus.
