I am doing a search for a company in Rhode Island, started by Brown University
alumni that has developed patent-pending meaning-based search technology. 
They just merged with one of the largest ISPs and are well funded. 
They are looking for a full-time, permanent Computational Linguist to 
participate in the collaboration and creation of advanced language tools for 
Web search and other projects. 
	
Immediate projects include:
	* Develop Page sense disambiguation (PSD) algorithms to improve and 
 augment current methods for disambiguation of web pages
	* Build a web-based, multi-purpose corpus
	* Develop Automatic Expansion algorithms -from user-added meanings,
	 automatically update the database; perform hyponym extraction from 
 web-based corpora
	* Develop single line parser algorithm - pull out the nouns and 
 possibly intentions from a query on the search engine
	* Develop evaluation methodologies for all algorithms
	* Create and manage a research team - locate and recruit people who 
 are experts in any of the needed fields
