THE UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS SCHOOL OF ENGLISH Lectureship in English Language Applications are invited for a fixed term appointment (Lecturer A) from 1 January 2001 - 31 July 2003. Candidates will be expected to have completed, or be on the point of completing a PhD in an appropriate field, to have relevant teaching experience, and to be able to contribute to the School's research profile. The ability to develop options in semantics and pragmatics will be an advantage. Salary range 17,238 - 22,579 (pounds sterling). Closing date for applications: 7 July 2000.
