Visiting Scholar In African Linguistics The Department of Linguistics at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, is pleased to announce the availability of a visiting position in African Linguistics for Spring 2001. Applicants must have the Ph. D. by August, 2000; and not prior to August, 1995. We seek scholars in all areas of African Linguistics, but special consideration will be given to those with a specialization in phonology or syntax. The visiting scholar must be a native speaker of an African language. The visiting scholar is expected to do research and collaborate with colleagues in African Linguistics at Rutgers. The official dates of appointment will be February 1 - May 15, 2001.
