The Department of English, Baylor University, invites applications for
a full-time, tenure-track position in Linguistics at the Assistant 
Professor level, beginning Fall 2001. Teaching duties involve a three-
course assignment per semester and may include syntax, semantics/
pragmatics, cross-cultural linguistics, and linguistics and literature. 

A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence is required. Baylor
