Institution: UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN Position: Visiting Assistant Professor The Department of Linguistics at the University of Michigan invites applications for a one year position as Visiting Assistant Professor in Computational Linguistics (with the possibility of renewal for another year), beginning September 2001. The position will include 1/2 time teaching responsibilities in computational linguistics (one course per semester) and 1/2 time research as the Language Learning Visiting Research Assistant Professor. We seek outstanding applicants who have graduate training in Linguistics, knowledge of computer science, and advanced experience with some form of language-related technology. A Ph.D. by the start of the appointment is required.
