Tenure-track position to begin Fall 2001. Ph.D. in Spanish with substantial experience in interpreting, or M.A. in Translation and Interpretation with experience in court interpreting. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, evidence of effective teaching. Responsibilities include teaching in the graduate program in Bilingual Legal Interpreting, and some administrative duties in the program. Successful candidate will also be required to teach undergraduate language courses in the Department of Hispanic Studies.
