Phonology Position 
Department of Linguistics


The Department of Linguistics, University of Ottawa, invites
applications for a Tenure track position in Phonology at the Assistant
Professor - possibly Associate Professor - level, commencing July 1,
2001. Applicants should have a Ph.D. with evidence of strong research
potential. Candidates should be familiar with recent developments in
phonological theory and show a commitment to additional area(s) of
linguistics. The candidate will be expected to teach and supervise in
both English and French at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

potentiel pour la recherche. Une connaissance des d�veloppements
r�cents en th�orie phonologique est exig�e ainsi qu'un int�r�t confirm�
pour d'autres domaines de la linguistique. Le (la) candidat(e) devra
pouvoir enseigner et encadrer les �tudiant(e)s en anglais et en fran�ais
