WORKSHOP ON THE EVOLUTION OF LANGUAGE IN BELGIUM AND THE NETHERLANDS NOVEMBER 17, 2000 - ATOMIUM, BRUSSELS Dear colleague, We are happy to invite you to participate in our interdisciplinary workshop about the evolution of language. The workshop brings together researchers from Belgium, the Netherlands and some neighbouring countries. The workshop has a one-day program with short presentations and two invited talks. The program is divided in three sessions: (1) Meaning, (2) Phonology and (3) Grammar; each session will be closed with a short discussion. The deadline for registration is due on November, 6th 2000.
