Linguist Consultant - Spanish 

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Position Description:

Inxight's products incorporate next-generation unstructured text analysis 
and knowledge extraction technologies developed at Inxight, Xerox PARC 
and other Xerox research centers.

Immediate opening for a full-time Linguist Consultant through 
September 2001 with possibility of an extension

Responsibilities:

*	Participate in the development and testing of a Spanish version of
 our information extraction application
*	Create, expand and maintain linguistic databases
*	Perform linguistic analysis and implementation and evaluate results
*	Create documentation for the project

Applicant Qualifications:

Required:

*	Native-level fluency in Spanish
*	Degree or strong background in Linguistics
*	Strong written and verbal English communication skills
*	Familiarity with Unix and some computational skills in scripting and
 programming

Desirable:
*	
*	Work experience in an area of linguistic technology or computational
 linguistics
*	Native-level fluency in French
