The successful candidate will also be considered for an appointment to the newly endowed Musa Sabi Chair in Iranian Studies. Candidates should have substantial training in Indo-European linguistics. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in both Old and Middle Iranian) and in Classical and Vedic Sanskirt. In addition, the appointee should be able to teach undergraduate courses on topics of broad interest in Indic and Iranian religion, literature and culture, as well as graduate-level courses in Indo-European linguistics.
