The Speech Engineer/Technical Linguist is responsible for developing,
optimizing, and maintaining recognition grammars for our applications.
Key activities include transcribing and improving pronunciations of
out-of-vocabulary words, typically proper names. You will work closely
with other speech engineers to achieve high quality performance of our
speech recognition technology. You will also interact closely with our
applications development team to ensure that the grammars developed can
be integrated optimally into production, such as conditional grammars.

for our applications; Generating phonetic pronunciations for
out-of-vocabulary words; Iteratively tuning the grammars and
pronunciations for optimal performance; Designing tools for grammar
