I am an Italian student and I'm writing a thesis about the contrastive = analysys between English and German. I have found a complete bibliography on this subject but I don't know = how to buy the books that could be useful for my thesis: they are = written by linguists such as Hartmann, Abraham, Asbach-Schnitker, = Burgschmidt, Delattre, Doherty, Hawkins, Kirkwood, Konig, Nehls and = Stein.I have written a lot of e-mails to the editors of many books on = linguistics without any results as contrastive linguistics is not so = well known. If you have any information about where to buy these books, = please contact me; my e-mail address is cristinafrancoMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issuetiscalinet.it. Hello, I'm a cultural studies student and I'm writing an essay on the influence of social networks on language change. The only - and the most recent - source I found was the work done by Lesley Milroy on a study in Belfast (GB) in the late 1970s. I'm still looking for newer publications - without succeeding so far. Can anybody give me any useful hints?
