The University of Leipzig (Germany) is holding a workshop on verb-particle constructions. The talks deal with various aspects (including syntax, semantics, morphology, production, processing) of particle verbs and related phenomena using data from various Germanic languages. The workshop will take place from Friday, 4th February 2000 until Sunday, 6th. The talks on the Friday will be held in the Neuer Senatssaal (Ritterstrasse 26) and on the remaining days in the Willhelm-Wundt-Raum in the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Neuropsychologische Forschung (Stephanstrasse 1). It would be appreciated if those interested in attending some or all of the talks would let us know beforehand.
