The Department of Linguistics University of Arizona is proud to announce an: International Conference on Word Order and Scrambling University of Arizona Tucson, Arizona April 7-9, 2000 This conference will provide a venue for bringing together many of the leading researchers on scrambling. It will contain syntactic and semantic discussions of scrambling languages, as well as issues related to language acquisition and language processing. Major scrambling languages, including Hindi, German, Dutch, Japanese, Hungarian, Persian, Tamil, Turkish, Russian and various Native American languages will be discussed.
