The Ninth Annual Postgraduate Linguistics Conference University of Manchester, UK March 25, 2000 The Ninth Annual Postgraduate Linguistics Conference at the University of Manchester, will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2000. The conference is organized by postgraduates for postgraduates, in order to share ideas and present research. The guest speaker is Prof. Andrew Spencer of the University of Essex, who will be speaking about the morphology-syntax interface. There are 24 papers by students, on a variety of linguistic topics. Students of all Universities are all welcome to come. The registration fee will be �9 for everybody. We heartily encourage all students, linguistic students in particular, to come and join us for the conference. We would also like to invite all of you to join us for the lunch, which is �6, and the farewell drink which will be held at the end of the day. Lunch must be booked in advance.
