NLP RESEARCH SCIENTISTS NEEDED

Cymfony, located in suburban Buffalo, New York State, USA, is a leader
in technology pertaining to intelligent search and retrieval, including
question answering systems. This fast-growing company has 
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for research scientists and (computational)
linguists. A NUMBER OF POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Cymfony also

1. COMPUTATIONAL GRAMMARIANS

The job involves natural language data analysis, writing pattern
matching rules and debugging the rules. The ideal candidate
should have a Master's degree in (Computational) Linguistics
with hands-on experience in writing computational grammars. Programming
experience is a plus. US permanent residents and Canadian citizens are
encouraged to apply.

2. COMPUTATIONAL LEXICOGRAPHERS

The job involves processing machine readable dictionaries, 
collceting and modifying on-line lexical resources, lexicon 
debugging and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a Master's
degree in (Computational) Linguistics with hands-on experience in
computational lexicons. Programming experience is a plus. US permanent
residents and Canadian citizens are encouraged to apply.

3. RESEARCH SCIENTISTS

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science or
related field with experience in natural language processing,
computational linguistics, or information retrieval. Proficiency in C++
programming is required.
