Job Description:

Experienced computational linguist to lead development and design of
commercial interlingua MT system. Will manage a team of linguists to
determine and define a conceptual framework for the development of a
lexical database and grammar system. Contributor will need to work
closely with software development team to ensure coordination of
linguistic and technical requirements. Technical experience or
strength a plus.

The contributor will have commercial experience and an understanding
and interest in the commercial applications of linguistic science.
Also should have successfully managed to deadlines and business
pressures.
Contributor will:
- Lead team of linguists, planning short and long term goals for
grammar development and coordinating work with programmers
- Provide expertise and design of grammar for an interlingua aided
machine translation system
- Provide expertise of methods for testing the grammar rules to ensure
adequate coverage and quality
- Provide expertise for the design of lexical tools, testing methods,
automatic acquisition of lexicon, design of interlingua

Requirements:
� Advance degree in computational linguistics or related area
� Experience in the management of projects and people
� Excellent communications skills and strong management skills
� Ability to work under pressure
� Knowledge of a second language

A plus:
� Experience with Romance languages
� Excellent communications skills
