The main responsibility will be the teaching of English language to undergraduates. The post is for two years, starting from 1 October 2001, or as soon as thereafter, with a possible extension of one year. A PhD is preferable together with substantial teaching experience and relevant publications. However, an experienced teacher with an M.A. degree may also be considered. The salary and benefits will be based on the Japanese Ministry of Education scale, and will be commensurate with age and experience.
