LINGUISTICS AT SCHOOL: WHY ARE THE BRITISH SUCH POOR LANGUAGE LEARNERS? An open session organised by the Education Committee of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain (LAGB). The session is part of the LAGB Autumn Meeting held at the University of Reading, UK, on 4-6 September 2001. The session will be held at 2.00-4.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 5 September 2001.
