The information about project LIQUID: The LIQUID project (Language Independent Querying for Information Discovery), which is funded by the DG INFSO of the European Commission, is part of the Key Action III "Multimedia Contents and Tools" of the IST Program. Key Action III will develop tools to manage, spread, retrieve and interchange digital content. The main objective of LIQUID is the implementation of a cost-effective strategy to search and retrieve information in a multilingual text database. The project starts in January 2001 and ends in December 2002.
