The Linguistic Society of America and the CUNY Graduate Center's Ph.D. Program in Linguistics, sponsors of the Linguistic Enterprises project (http://web.gc.cuny.edu/Linguistics/enter/), invite you to learn more about our new project, Linguistic Mentorprises, a mentoring program designed to bring together linguists who are employed in the private sector with those who would like to be. The goal of the mentoring program is to extend a sharing of experience about professional opportunities and pitfalls, into a self-sustaining year-round source of support for young linguists until they get established in their careers. Signing up is very fast and very simple: you can either visit us online at the above address, or better yet, come and see us at the upcoming LSA meeting in Washington D.C. later this week: someone will be there to answer your questions. Additional questions and comments can be sent to Christine Susskind at csusskindMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issuecuny.gc.edu
