tu.ac.th) The Department of Linguistics at Thammasat University is the oldest in Thailand and the only to offer an undergraduate degree in linguistics as well as a graduate degree which focusses on Thai linguistics. The undergraduate curriculum comprises a comprehensive range of topics both in general linguistics and in more specialised fields of linguistics. Both theory and practical application to related disciplines are emphasised. The Department of Linguistics publishes the Journal of Language and Linguistics. Now in its thirteenth year, the Journal is the only specialised linguistics publication of its type in Thailand.
