		The Institute of Cognitive Science at the University
		of Osnabrueck is pleased to invite interested
		participants to the 2001 Annual Meeting of the
		Gesellschaft fuer Semantik:
		
		 SINN UND BEDEUTUNG VI
		
		 6th Annual Meeting of the
		 Gesellschaft f�r Semantik
		
		
University of Osnabrueck, October 8th - 10th, 2001

This year the meeting will take place in Osnabrueck,
Germany from Monday, October 8th, to Wednesday,
October 10th, 2001.

The invited speakers for this year's meeting are:

 Bart Geurts (University of Nijmegen &
 Humboldt University Berlin),
 Shalom Lappin (King's College, London), and
 Mark Steedman (University of Edinburgh).

In addition there will be three parallel sessions
with a total of 42 talks devoted to formal semantics,
the syntax/semantics interface, and the relationship
between semantics and pragmatics.
