Dear colleagues, we are happy to announce the opening of a new internet resource, specialized in pidgin and creole languages, the PIDGINS AND CREOLES ARCHIVE at http://www.pca.uni-siegen.de The Pidgins and Creoles Archive (PCA) is a distribution point for research papers on Pidgins and Creoles hosted by the University of Siegen, Germany, managed by Ingo Plag and Sabine Lappe. PCA aims at facilitating research in Pidgin and Creole languages. Posting in PCA is open to all who wish to disseminate their work on Pidgins, Creoles, and other contact languages. Papers in the Archive are unedited, unreviewed, unsolicited, and self-selected. You can upload your own papers and download other people's papers. Uploading and downloading procedures are automated and require only a few mouseclicks. Due to its nascent status, the archive currently holds only a few papers, but we hope that the number of available papers will increase shortly. For more information visit PCA ( http://www.pca.uni-siegen.de ) or contact the PCA-managers Ingo Plag (plagMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueanglistik.uni-siegen.de) or Sabine Lappe (lappe
