The Person: Applicants should have a PhD in Applied Linguistics or equivalent, with a specialization in research on second language acquisition/second language teaching and learning, in particular Language for Specific Purposes, with reference to English and/or languages other than English, and preferably one or more of the following areas: Discourse, Language Program Evaluation/Language Testing, language use in multilingual settings.
