Dear linguists, In this day and age of electronic publications and resources, I am looking for (online) resources or bibliographies of linguistic journals, conference proceedings, review articles and the like, covering also non-Anglo-American sources. Where can I find such resources? Any and all replies are appreciated. Please send them to: tom.vanhoutMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueua.ac.be Thanks in advance for your help, Tom Van Hout University of Antwerp (UIA), Belgium
Dear list members, I am a student of linguistics and need some help: -Are there any books or articles discussing L. Milroy's concept/theory of social networks? -I work on Slovak linguistic community in Croatia and would like to employ the concept of social networks making use of language (auto)biographical narratives (e.g. Nekvapil, 2001 & in prep.). Does anyone of you work on something similar or can you suggest some literature? Thanks. Marian Sloboda - ---- Nekvapil, Jiri, 2001. "From the Biographical Narratives of Czech Germans: Language Biographies in the Family of Mr and Mrs S." In Journal of Asian Pacific Communication 11, pp. 77-99. Nekvapil, Jiri, in prep. "Language biographies and the analysis of language situations: towards the life of the German community in the Czech Republic."
