These studentships carry an annual bursary of �7,000 plus fees. Teaching experience will be offered. You will need a first and initial postgraduate qualification, normally in humanities / social science / languages / linguistics, and sound mastery of English and at least one other language. Possible areas of investigation (nation-specific, cross-national, or European) include: socio-economic developments, culture contact and conflict, socio-linguistics, gender issues.
