Message 2: Correction to HPSG-2002 1st CFP

Date: Mon, 5 Nov 2001 11:20:31 -0800
From: Stephen M. Wechsler <wechslermail.utexas.edu>
Subject: Correction to HPSG-2002 1st CFP

The HPSG-2002 Call for Papers sent out last week erroneously gave the
dates for abstract submission deadline and notification of
acceptance, respectively, as 15 Feb. and 1 April 2001. The correct
year for both is 2002, of course. The corrected CFP appears below.
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
 FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS

 HPSG-2002
 9th International Conference on
 Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar
Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea
 8-9 August 2002

The 9th International Conference on HPSG will take place on 8-9 August
2001, on the campus of the Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea.
The conference will be co-hosted by the Linguistic Society of Korea

(The Linguistic Society of Korea Conference will take place at the
same location on 5-7 August, 2002, immediately preceding HPSG-2002.
The final day of the LSK Conference, August 7, will feature workshops
of interest to practitioners of diverse theoretical frameworks. More
information on these workshops will be posted later.)

HPSG-2002 solicits abstracts for presentations that address
linguistic, foundational, or computational issues relating to the
framework of Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar.

INVITED SPEAKERS:

Robert Borsley (University of Essex)

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

We invite E-MAIL submissions of abstracts for presentations. Your
abstract must have two parts:

 - title of paper

message body, and part (2) as an attachment.

Abstracts should contain the subject heading 'HPSG-02 abstract' and
