POSITION AVAILABLE

Position: Assistant Professor of English, tenure-track

Start Date: August 2002

Qualifications: Doctorate in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related
field. ABD considered if degree is completed by date of
employment. The position requires teaching and research experience in
general and applied linguistics, with expertise in at least two of the
following areas: ESL methods, sociolinguistics, history of English,
second language acquisition, assessment, and/or second language
literacy development.

Responsibilities: Opportunities to teach both undergraduate
linguistics and graduate-level ESL endorsement and TESOL courses. To
