Subject: Language and the Brain

Dear Linguists,

I'm planning to teach a low level undergraduate course on Language and 
the Brain in the spring. For many students, this will be their first 
introduction to either linguistics or neuroscience. Can anyone 
recommend good readings, perhaps some from the popular press, or a good 
textbook for this kind of a course? I'll send a summary to the list.
