Research Post in Psycholinguistics at Edinburgh University The psycholinguistics group at the University of Edinburgh seeks a researcher, initially to work on a 12 month research project. This project "The coordination of self-interruption and self-repair in speech" is funded by the ESRC and awarded to Robert Hartsuiker and Martin Pickering. The post will be available at the RA1B (BP 17,451-19,486 p.a.) or RA1A (BP 17,451-26,229 p.a.) scale. The successful candidate will set up, run, and analyse computer-based experiments involving picture naming that are designed to elicit self-repair. Candidates should have experience conducting research in Experimental Psychology or Psycholinguistics. A PhD would be an advantage, but other well-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
