The 19th Scandinavian Conference of Linguistics will be held at the 
University of Troms�, January 10-12 2002.

The full program comprises of 82 talks within a variety of linguistic 
fields, including three workshops on the topics 'First language 
acquisition', 'Bilingual behavior in teenage groups', and 'Generative 
approaches to Finnic languages'.
