TWO TENURE-TRACK POSITIONS
APPLIED LINGUISTICS
William Paterson University
Wayne, New Jersey

1. Assistant Professor, Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics or strongly
related area.
Teaching experience in ESL/Bilingual Education. A foreign language
(preferably Spanish or French), and scholarly publication required.
Proficiency in use of instructional technology preferred.

2. Assistant Professor, Ph.D. in Applied/Comparative Linguistics,
Second Language Acquisition, or strongly related area required.
Demonstrated ability to teach Structure of American English, ESL/EFL
methodology, and a language other than English required. Publication
and solid research agenda. Proficiency in instructional technology.

letters of reference, and writing samples to the Chair of the
