	Editor's note: We at LINGUIST appreciate more than we can 
	express, the kind words that many of you have sent our way. 
	Last week we printed a letter that Arendse Bernth so generously 
	wrote. We thought we would end our fund drive with another. 
	Thanks to Arendse, John, and all of you who took the time from
	your busy schedules to write to us.

Just a note to say it's a pleasure to donate to such an upbeat and
useful service. I shall wear my T shirt with pride. I'm sure there
must be other subscribers out there who have been thinking "Must get
round to donating to the Linguist fund drive" but what with papers to
mark, exams to prepare, children to look after, it gets forgotten. So
