Secondary areas of emphasis might include phonology, semantics, language acquisition or sociolinguistics. A willingness to teach ESL as well as basic and advanced linguistics courses is helpful. A Ph.D. in Linguistics and a commitment to research and publication are required. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable but not required at the time of initial contract. Teaching load of 12 credits per semester, competitive salary.
