SIGHAN, the Association for Computational Linguistics Special Interest Group on Chinese Language Processing, as part of its goal of promoting education in Chinese Language Processing is pleased to announce at least TWO student fellowships, to cover the cost of attending the full-day tutorial in Computational Linguistics and Chinese Language Processing to be offered August 24, 2002, in conjunction with COLING 2002 in Taipei. For information on the tutorials, please see: http://www.coling2002.sinica.edu.tw/w-tutorials.html The fellowship will cover the cost of tutorial registration only. Applicants must be students currently enrolled in a degree program, and have an interest in natural language processing or related areas. Applications should include the following materials: 1. Short CV or Resume 2. Short (50 word) statement of interest 3. GPA or equivalent 4.
