This is a call for reviewers for BNCweb, a web-based interface to the 100-million word British National Corpus, that was announced on LINGUIST at http://linguistlist.org/issues/13/13-1709.html/. Prospective reviewers are advised that running this software requires: a UNIX operating system, a full (local) installation of the BNC World Edition (see http://info.ox.ac.uk/bnc/), and some additional UNIX tools, including MySQL and Perl. Also, even though a detailed installation manual is provided with the software, some basic system administration skills are necessary. If you are interested in reviewing this software, please contact Terry Langendoen at terryMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issuelinguistlist.org. Please include in your message: an affirmation that you have the required computing environment, a description of your qualifications, your reason(s) for wanting to review this software, and a mailing address for sending you the installation CD-ROM.
