The University of Granma, in the eastern region of Cuba, is announcing special summer and fall courses on Spanish with elements of Cuban culture. Courses have a duration of two weeks and include basic communicative abilities and elements of the culture, history, and society of this interesting and beautiful island. We are very pleased to announce the launching of "Cantonese Linguistic Studies", a new web-site jointly established and maintained by Jinan University and the University of Hong Kong. This is a free service for all interested in linguistic research on Cantonese. The content is currently available in both traditional and simplified Chinese characters.
