Linguistics Abstracts is now undergoing some changes and a new web interface is being designed and should soon be ready for use. For this reason we have no announcement of new additions for this month. Upon the arrival of the new web interface over 2000 new abstracts will be available. Here is a brief description of the new web interface. Linguistics Abstracts Online The essential resource for ALL linguists everywhere Available by subscription at http://www.linguistlistplus.com/ Linguistics Abstracts Online is designed as a research and teaching tool that will give immediate access via the World Wide Web to more than 23,000 abstracts from a list of more than 300 (and growing) linguistics and linguistic related journals published since 1985. Linguistics Abstracts Online will enable you to: - Conduct quick, accurate and comprehensive searches when writing papers or doing research. - Prepare teaching materials for students. - Compile bibliographies and check references. - View working papers and conference proceedings.
