A background in Sociolinguistics, an interest in the English language in an Asian context, and familiarity with Chinese languages would be helpful, but candidates from all areas of specialization will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching non-native speakers at the undergraduate level. MA teaching and thesis supervision at both the M.A. and PhD levels are also likely for this post. Full fluency and ability to lecture clearly in English are requirements.
