Osnabrueck Cognitive Science Doctorate Programme Next admission deadline (for start in April 2003): 5 January 2003. Cognitive Science started in Osnabrueck with a Bachelor Programme in 1998, which was the first undergraduate Cognitive Science programme offered in Germany and has been attracting about 80 new students each year. A Master Programme was started in 2001. This autumn, we have launched the Doctorate Programme. It is a three-year international curricular programme for the degree of a Dr.phil. or Dr. rer.nat. and is supported by the DAAD. Admission to the Doctorate Prgramme requires a Masters degree or equivalent in either Cognitive Science or one of its subdisciplines. There is also an option for an integrated Masters and Doctorate study. The faculty of the programme are: Prof. Dr. P. Bosch (Computational Linguistics and Cognitive Science) PD Dr. H. Sperschneider (Theoretical Computer Science) Dr. Carla Umbach (Computational Linguistics and Semantics) Prof. Dr. R.
