University or Organization: Swarthmore College Department: Department of Linguistics Rank of Job: Visiting Assistant Professor Specialty Areas: Phonology Description: Swarthmore College Department of Linguistics seeks a phonologist with a strong background in all core areas of Linguistics, a strong track record of field research and publications on a non-Indo European language, and the ability to teach a course on the structure of a non-Indo European language and on field methods. An interest in service to endangered speech communities is a plus. This is a three-year position. Ph.D. must be in hand by September 1, 2003.
