How to reach Tiburtina Station: >From Fiumicino airport trains leave every 15 minutes between 6.27 am and 9.27 pm, and every 30 minutes between 9.27 pm and 11.27 pm; trains are less frequent on Sundays and holidays. The journey takes about 40 minutes. The trains timetable is available at http://www.trenitalia.it >From Ciampino airport, take the bus to Anagnina (buses leave every 20 minutes). At Anagnina, take the underground, A line, direction Battistini, to Termini. In Termini, change to the B line, direction Rebibbia, and get off at Tiburtina Station. The whole journey from Ciampino airport to Tiburtina station takes about one hour. Tiburtina may also be reached by underground (B line) from Termini train station. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Bus tickets to L'Aquila must be bought at the ARPA ticket agency, located near the Tiburtina bus station. The journey to L'Aquila (city centre, Piazza Battaglione degli Alpini - ''Fontana Luminosa'') takes about one hour and 40 minutes. PESCARA - L'AQUILA Pescara Bus station is situated in Piazza della Repubblica by the main train station. Buses from Pasquale Liberi Airport to the bus station leave every 10 minutes (from 5.30 am to 11.30 pm). The journey time is about 10 minutes. Bus tickets to L'Aquila must be bought at the ARPA ticket agency, located near the bus terminal.
