Alliance for the Advancement of Technology (AAT) recently issued Integrated Chronological Applications System (ICAS) version 6.04. AAT ICAS is modelled on metric methodologies of usability, and the AAT is presently studying certain uses of ICAS calendar and clock systems. ICAS features are exploring a variety of practical and theoretical approaches to usability challenges. Information about AAT ICAS standards and methodologies may be found at http://www.aatideas.org/itinica in both HTML and PDF formats. AAT ICAS term sets are localized for use by the AAT and also for use by ICAS licensees consistent with the ICAS version in effect. ICAS is developed in English by the AAT with some consideration for issues of translation to other languages. At this time the AAT does not provide support for other languages, however is tracking demand for language support. Based on program response, the AAT has determined a demand for ICAS language support in French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Russian, Laotian, Chinese, and Japanese. The AAT seeks to hear from those interested in sponsoring or developing additional language support for the AAT, or for becoming a AAT partner in areas of technology programming for languages other than English.
