Description:

The Provost's Academic Diversity Postdoctoral Program seeks to
increase the number of scholars underrepresented in American higher

experience. The program is directed to promising scholars from ethnic
and racial groups that have been historically underrepresented in
higher education (African American, American Indian, and
Hispanic/Latino) and who will contribute to academic diversity and
excellence at Cornell University. Fellows will devote their time to
research and will teach one course a year.

Award: There will be three awards each for a two-year term appointment

relocation/research expenses. Applicants must complete all
requirements for the doctoral degree by August, 2003 and should have
received the degree within the past five years. Applicants must be
