It has been nearly two years in the making, but LINGUIST List's new dynamic architecture is now virtually complete. To celebrate, we are launching our new-look homepage, which we hope will re-introduce all the facilities, services and useful data available on LINGUIST to our users. Perhaps the most beneficial thing about the new design is the enhanced navigation: with over 2,500 individual pages on the site, it used to be very easy to get lost. Now it is simple to jump from one section to another and back again. Every resource on the site is categorized by linguistic sub-field and where applicable subject language, and the dynamic searching allows our users to locate data in seconds. Of course we are sure that improvements can be made, and we would really appreciate your feedback. If you are attending the LSA conference in January, please take a moment to stop by our office hours in the Henry Room: Friday, 3 January 11:00 AM . 12:00 PM Saturday, 4 January 2:00 PM . 3:00 PM For those of you who cannot make it to LSA, please email any suggestion or comments to linguistMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issuelinguistlist.org (please note the message below about our vacation!). The feedback we receive from our users has been extremely useful to us; it is only through your help that we can improve our site and serve the linguistic community efficiently. Sincerely, Helen and Anthony
