Duties include teaching various levels of modern Chinese language as needed, supervising Graduate Teaching Fellows (GTFs), and, as appropriate, contributing to the training course for new GTFs and the summer Program, as well as participating in curricular planning and outreach. The one-year appointment is renewable contingent upon review. M.A. in Chinese linguistics, Chinese language and literature, or closely related fields, and fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English is required. A strong preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in language teaching. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
