"Vernieuwingsimpuls" project "Linguistic Variation in Eastern
Indonesia and East Timor", funded by NWO and the University of Leiden.

This research project focuses on the documentation of four endangered
languages of East Timor, two of which belong to the Austronesian

As a Postdoc, you are expected to carry out and publish descriptive
and comparative surveys of two or more East Timor languages,
co-operate with the head of the project in the cross-linguistic
comparison of the data, and publish on theoretical implications of the
findings. The Postdoc will carry out her/his research project within
the research school CNWS.
